Contour College has been delivering quality short courses in Make-up application to students for many years in an array of formats designed to suit your required knoweldge levels. From basic application to complex technique instruction, our fully equipped training salons and highly skilled industry trainers can help you achieve your career goals.
This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to design and apply suitable make-up techniques for domestic street wear, business, pleasure, social and special occasions for various times of the day or night. This competency may apply to a range of roles in the workplace.
WRBFS204B Design and Apply Remedial Camouflage Makeup
This unit requires the operator to assess facial and body areas requiring remedial camouflage and to apply appropriate make-up, specialised products and application techniques. Knowledge and skill in the application of relevant legislation and policy, particularly in regard to hygiene and safety, is also required.
WRBFS203B Design and Apply Makeup for Photography
This unit requires the operator to assess the needs of clients and/or photographers/stylists in order to design and apply make-up for a range of photographic purposes. It requires the application of a basic knowledge of photography techniques, including film stock and lighting and make-up products and application techniques. Knowledge and skill in the safe use of products and the application of legislation and policy is also required.
The Artistry of Beautiful Nails
Education in the art and science of beautiful nails at Contour College is a comprehensive short course involving extensive knowledge in nail technology and expert acrylic enhancement techniques.

WRBBS203A Apply Acrylic Nail Enhancement
This unit requires the operator to assess the needs of clients and perform a range of acrylic nail application services, including the removal of artificial nails and the application and maintenance of acrylic nails. It requires knowledge and skill in the safe use of products and equipment and of legislation and policy, particularly in regard to hygiene.
WRBCS204A Apply Knowledge of Nail Science to Nail Services
This unit requires the operator to demonstrate in their practice an understanding of nail science as it applies to the performance of nail treatments. Knowledge of relevant legislation and workplace policies and procedures, particularly in regard to safety and hygiene, are also required.
