Q CAN ANYONE ATTEND CONTOUR COLLEGE?
A As a Registered Training Organisation (RTO)
we can accept anyone who is eligible to do practical and theoretical training in
Hairdressing or Beauty Therapy. We are an adult learning environment and take students
of all ages.
Q DO YOU NEED PRIOR KNOWLEDGE TO DO A COURSE?
A No formal prior knowledge
is needed however dedication and passion for your chosen industry is essential.
Q HOW HARD IS IT TO GET YOUR TRADE CERTIFICATE?
A Trade certificates are Certificate
III in Hairdressing and Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy. Beauty Therapy students
can go straight into the Diploma level of study. All courses are Nationally Accredited
and involve approximately 60% practical and 40% theory components. Our Beauty Therapy
courses are internationally recognised through CIDESCO.
Q WHAT IF I ALREADY HAVE COMPLETED PARTS OF THE COURSE ELSEWHERE?
A Recognition
of Prior Learning from previous studies elsewhere with an RTO are fully transferable
with document evidence. This will effect your course fee’s and duration so it’s best
to phone us and discuss your needs for ‘gap’ training.
Q CAN I PAY MY FEES VIA PAYMENT PLAN AT CONTOUR COLLEGE?
A Contour College can
provide you with a standard payment plan which involves a deposit and monthly instalments.
Q ARE THERE ANY OTHER PAYMENT METHODS AVAILABLE?
A All of our courses are Centrelink
approved. We suggest you contact your local Centrelink office to check if you are
elegible to study full or part-time, and if you are eligible for benefits. The National
Australia Bank (NAB) also does student loans to approved applicants.
Q WHAT DO THE COURSE FEES INCLUDE?
A Course fees include all training, uniform,
products, equipment, insurances, industry expert knowledge and kits. The only fee
above and beyond your course fees is a $120.00 administration fee which IS payable
upon enrolment and secures your spot in the course. This is non refundable.
